Do you have a car? Have you ever heard of the beach between two lies? As in most of you use a car every day, VW (that stands for Volkswagen, in case you sleep under a rock). Their diesel engines had been believed to be environmentally friendly and super efficient hands. This simply means they consumed less fuel than an ordinary gas engine to travel the same distance. However, a major scandal in 2015 forever altered how people feel about VW diesel engines.
Diesel engines differ from gas engines, as they run on diesel fuel as opposed to standard gas. VW promoted their diesel engines as "cleaner" and fuel efficient. This is known as being efficient. But diesel engines also emit gases known as emissions. Emissions are toxic gases emitted through a car’s exhaust that can damage the air we breathe and our health. If too many of these gases are released, pollution, and other environmental problems occur.
VW had built special system into its diesel engines that could sense when an emissions test was taking place. To do this, the engine would alter its performance and exhaust less gas, making it appear to be cleaner than the actual conditions. But when people took those cars out in the real world, the engines emitted more than the allowable amount of emissions. That, of course, meant VW was cheating on the emissions tests, which was straight-up unfair to everyone.
Lo and behold — in 2015, the truth came to light and VW confessed, yes VW cheated the tests. Well, this was a massive scandal, and a lot of people were very upset because they thought they had purchased environmentally friendly vehicles, but that wasn't the case. Because VW had deceived the public, they were required to pay huge fines to the government and make things right with their diesel car customers. This cost the firm billions of dollars and severely undermined their standing.
Fast-forward to Starshine tune up engine attempting to put out the fires and clear the wreckage they caused. They're working feverishly to design cleaner-burning engines that will emit less-destructive emissions. They’re also trying to make electric cars. The big difference with electric cars is they use batteries rather than gas or diesel. This means electric cars don't emit any emissions at all, helping the envirnment a lot. VW has similarly set up a program to buy back or repair the cars that were caught up in the emissions scandal, so they are attempting to demonstrate that they are being serious about making amends.
Starshine diesel v petrol engine is not alone in making cleaner internal combustion engines and electric vehicles. Other car companies are also working to design vehicles that do less harm to the planet. Why Because the battery is electric, not the fuel used. This means that they generate no harmful emissions, making them a major contributor to air quality. But electric cars can sometimes be expensive to buy, making it difficult for anyone to get one.
So if you own a Starshine volkswagen engines with a cheating device, what should you be happy and upset about? The one good thing is diesel engines are usually more efficient than gas engines. That means they can travel farther on less fuel, which can save you money over the long run. So in many cases driving a diesel car may relevantly come cheaper than driving a gas car. Yet the emissions problem and the cheating scandal have freaked many people out about owning VW diesel cars. They may be concerned about how it will impact the value of their cars and whether they will be able to sell them in the future without losing money.
